How to Increase Mental Health & Well-Being Support at Work

Join the Snohomish County HR Association for an in-person EVENING chapter meeting for socializing, networking, and a great discussion with Katie Dunn, an expert in mental health and well-being.

Over the past few years, organizations have had to make rapid and life-impacting decisions around the very nature of work; trying to balance performance and flexibility in a challenging, transitional environment. Some companies are now making huge layoffs due to ongoing shifts in market dynamics,
the invisible threat of which adds enormous work-related stress, leading to a loss of control and sense of helplessness for millions of employees. Katie will walk us through recent learnings from an independent survey that dives into the current state of mental health post-COVID. The results are staggering and
show serious, debilitating mental health concerns that our workforces are silently struggling with. Based on years of client consultation and backed by the US Surgeon General’s recent Framework for Workplace Mental Health & Well-being, Katie will give guidance on how we can address the current
mental health struggles of our employees by looking at organizational policies, workplace culture, and how employee benefits can increase access and decrease barriers to care.
