In this one-hour workshop, “Building a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Workplace: Practical Strategies for Implementation,” participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the five levels of equity and their application at both individual and organizational levels. They will explore the importance of identity awareness and learn techniques to manage emotions and behaviors, fostering meaningful engagement with others. The session will also cover practical strategies to build and sustain a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace, addressing implicit biases and systemic barriers that hinder DEI efforts. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to create a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
