Exciting and unique opportunity to join a talented, passionate senior leadership team of one of the largest human services organizations in Snohomish County (WA). For nearly 120 years, the YMCA has served the community with a broad range of high impact programs for all ages with the mission to inspire, nurture, and strengthen culturally vibrant communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y delivers on its mission through the dedicated efforts of 2,500 volunteers and 800 staff (130 FT/670 PT + 100 summer seasonal) deployed in six branch facilities, two child care centers, and over 50 community program locations. Total organization budget of over $26M with approximately 60% allocated to personnel costs. Strategic plan priorities include completion and opening of new Everett YMCA (Fall 2019), relocation of corporate HQ, expansion of membership and program impact. HR priorities include attracting and retaining qualified, diverse staff; HRIS upgrade; managing wage and benefit costs and leading staff training and development initiatives. The YMCA is seeking candidates with 7+ years’ related experience including leading complex initiatives or projects. Preferred qualifications include BA degree in HR, business or equivalent, SPHR certification, nonprofit organization experience, and current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources. Starting salary range $90-$101K DOQ plus excellent benefits including health insurance, YMCA family membership, and unparalleled 403(b) pension program (12% employer contribution upon meeting eligibility requirements).
