Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA): What You Need to Know

On April 1, 2020 the FFCRA, a federal law that went into place to provide employees with additional protection and paid time off during the COVID-19 times. There are two parts to this act: Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act (EPSLA) and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA). During this presentation, we will go over the requirements of each of these acts, and the best practices and forms employers and human resource professional should use when placing their employees on these leaves. We will enough time at the end of the presentation for general Q&A as it pertains to these topics.
